The process of tent fumigation is something that will typically last between 24 to 72 hours. Your whole home will be tented, the chemicals will be pumped into the home and then the all-clear what has to be given before you are able to re-enter your home. The entire process will require a restricted level of pesticides and it needs to be taken on by a professional.

Tent fumigation is extremely effective for eliminating many different types of pests. The problem with tent fumigation is that it needs to be used with a proactive program that has regular maintenance that can protect your property from pests as well. Fumigation will eliminate the pests that are currently in your home but the gases that eliminated the pests will not eliminate any future pests from the property.

In order to make sure that your property remains free of pests, you need to make sure that you are performing regular maintenance and proactive pest prevention on your property moving forward.

The process of fumigation can be completely safe when it’s carried out by professionals. Fumiscopes will be used after the process to determine the concentrations of gas found in the environment after the treatment process. Fumigants will not leave extra residue in the household after the treatment and this means you can enjoy your home after the treatment process worry-free.
