This is debated quite a bit on the internet. To the best of our experience, cockroaches don’t really seem to care either way. Factories and storage facilities that store coffee beans and grounds still get cockroaches, so I do not believe it has much effect. It might be true that coffee grounds might be lower on their desired list. However, that doesn’t make them a suitable product to deter roaches.
