This is a very common occurrence and is actually a survival response from the cockroach. After a treatment, a certain portion of the population dies, and as the roaches become aware of this, their response is to move the colony, which makes them much more visible to us. In addition, the actual cockroaches, which are dying, will stumble out into the open.
