Many household chemicals will kill a termite on contact. This would include concentrated bleach, a shoe, your hand. The issue isn’t the ability to kill a single insect, because that is easy. The issue is what products can stop a termite colony, and bleach will not do that. Termite treatments with time-tested and proven products are the only effective way to treat a termite issue.
