Baking soda is not an effective termite killer. The main issue with termites is that they deliver the product deep into the colony. When dealing with subterranean termites, you will need the assistance of the termites themselves to distribute the termiticide. When dealing with drywood termites, this is generally accomplished by using a gas, or fumigant, to penetrate into all areas of the termite colony.
