Do termites eat walls?

Most walls in today’s construction are framed with wooden studs. These wooden studs can be eaten by termites. In addition, baseboards and trim, which are attached to walls around the base of the wall and around doors and windows, are also high on the termite menu. Termites digest the cellulose that is in the wood, so basically anything made with cellulose is a possible target.
